Al Ain Crowned Champions as Glory Shines Again in the President’s Cup Final

In a spectacular evening at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium, Al Ain reaffirmed its status as a powerhouse of Emirati football by clinching the President’s Cup title for the 2025–2026 season, following an impressive 4–1 victory over Al Jazira. The triumph came under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, who presented the prestigious trophy to the champions in a ceremony marked by elegance and national pride.

The final was attended by prominent figures including H.E. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Football Association, H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Board Member of Al Ain Club. Their presence added further significance to an evening that celebrated excellence, sportsmanship, and the enduring spirit of UAE football. Al Jazira, despite the defeat, received well‑deserved recognition as they were awarded the silver medals for finishing as runners‑up.

With this victory, Al Ain not only secured its eighth President’s Cup title, but also completed a remarkable domestic double, having lifted the ADNOC Pro League trophy just a week earlier. The win elevated the club’s historic tally to 40 official titles since its establishment in 1968, a record that reflects decades of consistency, ambition, and leadership on both local and continental stages. According to the club’s official records, Al Ain’s achievements include 15 league titles, two AFC Champions League trophies, multiple domestic cups, and a collection of regional honors that cement its reputation as the “Boss” of UAE football.

H.E. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan extended heartfelt congratulations to the club, emphasizing that this latest triumph enriches Al Ain’s legacy and stands as a defining moment in a season marked by determination and unity. He praised the club’s management, technical staff, and players for their commitment, and highlighted the vital role of the loyal Al Ain fanbase, describing them as an essential partner in every success the team achieves. He also commended Al Jazira for their strong performance and sportsmanship, wishing them continued progress in the seasons ahead.

The night was more than a celebration of a trophy; it was a testament to Al Ain’s enduring identity—a club that continues to set standards, inspire generations, and elevate Emirati football with every step it takes.
