OUT FOR WTA PLAYERS’ PARTY
Dubai, UAE – February 18, 2025: The biggest names in women’s tennis came together on Monday for a
night of glamour and celebration at the WTA Player’s Party on the sidelines of the Dubai Duty Free
Tennis Championships, which this year marks 25 years of women’s tennis in the emirate.
Dressed to impress, World No2 Iga Swiatek – who jokingly threatened to “go wild” – and World No3 Coco
Gauff – who collected fun content for her TikTok – were among the high-profile guests in attendance.
Meanwhile 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu enjoyed her first experience of the annual glitzy
gala held in the grounds surrounding Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
Reigning champion Jasmine Paolini shyly posed for photos, while World No5 Jessica Pegula and
Olympic Gold medallist Qinwen Zheng mingled with dignitaries and representatives from title sponsor
Dubai Duty Free, as well as tournament partners evian, Moet & Chandon, BMW AGMC, Emirates, Grey
Goose, Hologic, J.P. Morgan, MediClinic, and Rolex.
The Arabian-chic themed party featured an assortment of live entertainment, dancers, and performers,
including Hamza the Magician, the Baseline Band – complete with some of the emirate’s best musicians
– and Fusion Al Arab, a unique arrangement that involves a crossover of classical Arabic with a modern
twist.
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is owned and organised by Dubai Duty Free and held under
the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime
Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
