Dubai Basketball to Participate in First-Ever EuroLeague SuperCup in Abu Dhabi

Dubai Basketball will take part in the inaugural EuroLeague SuperCup, a new competition created by EuroLeague Basketball, which will be held at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 18 – 19 September.

The four-team tournament will bring together Europe’s most successful clubs in the past two seasons, featuring reigning EuroLeague champions Olympiacos Piraeus, 2025/26 runners-up Real Madrid, 2024/25 champions Fenerbahçe Tarfin Istanbul, and host club Dubai Basketball in a two-day showcase ahead of the start of the new season.

The competition will follow a Final Four format, with two games taking place each day.

Friday, 18 September

  • 18:00 GST: Olympiacos Piraeus vs Fenerbahce Tarfin Istanbul
  • 21:00 GST: Dubai Basketball vs Real Madrid

Saturday, 19 September

  • 18:00 GST: Third-place game
  • 21:00 GST: EuroLeague Basketball SuperCup Final

As the reigning ABA League champions, Dubai Basketball enters the competition following a historic 2025/26 campaign and ahead of its second season in the EuroLeague.

The launch of the EuroLeague SuperCup marks a significant addition to the European basketball calendar, with Abu Dhabi hosting the inaugural edition of the competition and bringing together the last two EuroLeague champions, the most recent finalist, and Dubai Basketball as the UAE representative.
