Dubai, UAE – February 17, 2025: Two-time Grand Slam doubles quarterfinalist Alexandra
Panova and Hungarian playing partner Fanny Stollár took to a side-court at the Dubai Duty
Free Tennis Stadium on Monday to put a group of 350 students from nine participating UAE
schools through their paces as part of the annual JP Morgan Kids’ Day.
The JP Morgan Kids’ Day traditionally takes place during the first days of the two-week
Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, attracting hundreds of students each year and
providing them a rare chance to learn up-close from some of the world’s best players.
Among those involved this year were promising girls’ player Isabelle James and boys’ player
Alexi Luca Rafael, who are both ranked among the best in the UAE for their age group.
This year’s clinic, hosted as ever by the CF Tennis Academy, saw the children enjoy an
action-packed clinic on court, before being afforded the chance to watch elite tennis,
showcase their school spirit, and take on some tennis tips from Panova and Stollár, who will
face Italy’s Olympic gold medalists Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini in Tuesday’s doubles
second round.
“We are excited to continue our sponsorship of the JP Morgan Kids Day at the Dubai Duty
Free Tennis Tournament,” said Khaled Hobballah, Senior Country Officer for the MENA
region at JP Morgan. “Our mission is to encourage young students to discover the joy of
tennis, nurturing their passion for the game. There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching
them gain new skills, build lasting friendships, and potentially rise as the future stars of
tennis.”
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is owned and organized by Dubai Duty Free
and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Tickets for both the
women’s WTA tournament and the men’s ATP event remain available to purchase
