The intensive preparations for the tenth edition of the Sharjah International Cycling Tour, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, are ongoing. The Supreme Organizing Committee for the international event held a coordination meeting at the Sharjah Sports Council headquarters, chaired by His Excellency Abdul Malik Muhammad Jani, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council and Head of the Organizing Committee, with the presence of Dr. Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, Tour Director, committee members, and heads of subcommittees. They reviewed performance reports from various committees and their technical, logistical, media, and marketing preparations, among others.
During the meeting, the final preparations for organizing the press conference on Monday, January 13, on Noor Island in Sharjah to announce the details of the tenth edition of the tour were reviewed. The number of teams, national teams, and participating countries, as well as the starting and finishing points for the five stages of the event, were approved. The committee also reviewed the trophies and medals prepared for the winners in the various stages and the invitations extended to VIPs and representatives of sponsors and partners.
His Excellency Abdulmalik Jani expressed his gratitude to all the committees for their efforts and the results achieved so far, directing the necessity to complete all requirements and overcome all challenges in cooperation with various governmental and private entities to produce a distinguished version of the grand global event.
