Dubai Basketball has officially tipped off its 2025/2026 preseason under the leadership of head coach Jurica Golemac, marking a pivotal moment in the club’s journey as it prepares for its inaugural Euro League campaign.
With nine core players already in training—Kondic, Wright, Mason, Ravena, Andjusic, Abass, Anderson, Bacon, and Dangubic—the team is building early chemistry and tactical cohesion. They are joined by Tajuan Agee, Nick Ongenda, and seasoned forward Tomislav Zubcic, while promising U18 talents Bacary Doucouré and Amath Diop are gaining valuable experience alongside the senior squad.
Seven key players are currently representing their national teams at EuroBasket and the AmeriCup, including Avramovic, Petrusev, Bertans, Prepelic, Jaiteh, Kamenjas, and Kabengele—adding international flair and competitive edge to Dubai’s roster.
Training sessions are underway at Shabab Al Ahli gym and will soon shift to the iconic Coca-Cola Arena, the team’s home venue and a symbol of Dubai’s growing sports infrastructure.
The first preseason tests will take place in Istanbul, with high-profile matchups against Galatasaray on September 6 and Fenerbahçe on September 8—setting the tone for what promises to be a thrilling season.
