Dubai Duty Free announced its sales for its 41st anniversary on December 20, amounting to 59.9 million dirhams (16.436 million dollars), following a special discount offer launched by the market of up to 25% on a wide range of goods and products. The 24-hour offer resulted in strong purchasing activity at Dubai and Al Maktoum International Airports, with a notable revenue increase of 11% compared to the same day last year. Among the most notable products that recorded significant sales growth compared to the same period in 2023 were perfumes (23.4%), cosmetics (46.6%), candies and sweets (56.4%), cigarettes and tobacco products (22.8%), and precious jewelry (66.8%). Perfumes topped the list of best-selling items during the exhibition day, recording 15.294 million dirhams (4.190 million dollars), followed by cosmetics in second place with 6.240 million dirhams
