In a proactive move to elevate technical standards across the sport, the UAE Basketball Federation inaugurated a specialized statistical workshop at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in Dubai. The event was opened by His Excellency Farid Al Qaiwani, Board Member of the Federation, and attended by representatives from various clubs across the country.
During his opening remarks, Al Qaiwani emphasized the strategic importance of data analytics in modern basketball, noting that accurate statistics are no longer a luxury but a necessity for competitive performance and informed decision-making. He also expressed his appreciation for the continued collaboration between the Federation and local clubs, describing it as a cornerstone for sustainable development in the sport.
