The curtain has fallen on the sixth edition of the UAE Pro League eSports Championship, organized by the UAE Pro League on 30–31 May at Pixoul in the Canal District of Abu Dhabi. The event delivered a vibrant competitive atmosphere and attracted a wide field of participants, reflecting the continuous growth the championship has witnessed since its inception and reinforcing its status as one of the UAE’s leading eSports‑related events.
Players from across the country took part in the qualifying rounds in pursuit of a place in the finals, which were held in front of an enthusiastic audience and followed widely across the league’s digital platforms and official channels. The strong turnout highlighted the rising interest in this dynamic sector and its growing role in engaging youth and strengthening their connection to sports content.
Ali Al Darmaki, representing Khorfakkan Club, claimed the title after delivering an impressive performance throughout the competition, securing first place and the championship’s top prize. Muath Ibrahim of Dibba Club finished second, while Basil Hussein of Ajman Club took third place following intense battles among the elite players who advanced to the final stage.
The UAE Pro League allocated financial prizes for the top three finishers: AED 25,000 for first place, AED 15,000 for second, and AED 10,000 for third. The champion will also receive the opportunity to attend the Esports World Cup as a spectator, offering a firsthand look at one of the world’s premier global eSports events.
The awards ceremony was attended by Tareq Al Shibabi, Board Member of the UAE Pro League, who crowned the top three winners and praised the high level of competition and sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament—qualities that reflect the ongoing development of eSports in the UAE. The event also saw the presence of Musab Al Marzouqi, CEO of the UAE Pro League, representatives of professional clubs, media outlets, and content creators who covered the championship across social platforms.
The tournament forms part of the UAE Pro League’s efforts to keep pace with rapid transformations in the eSports sector and strengthen its presence in modern digital arenas by organizing high‑quality events that cater to diverse audiences and expand engagement with its competitions and activities.
The sixth edition further underscores the championship’s year‑on‑year success in participation, viewership, and digital and media interaction, cementing its growing position within the UAE’s eSports calendar and enhancing its role as a platform that brings together sports, technology, and entertainment in an integrated experience tailored to the aspirations of the new generation.
