Dubai Police, in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council and the UAE Pro League, emphasized the importance of joint efforts between security and sports institutions to ensure the safety, happiness, and optimal experience of fans attending football matches. This came during the “Stadium Security Workshop” held at the Dubai Sports Council headquarters.
The workshop featured key speakers including Brigadier General Khamis Ali Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Emergency Affairs; Ali Omar Al Baloushi, Director of Sports Development at the Dubai Sports Council; and representatives from the UAE Pro League. The event was attended by executive directors of Dubai clubs, liaison officers from Dubai Police, national media representatives, and fan club leaders from across Dubai.

He noted that the workshop builds on initiatives launched since 2020 to enhance match organization and ensure the safety and satisfaction of both fans and teams. The Dubai Sports Council continues to develop club personnel through regular forums and workshops, in collaboration with national institutions and international experts.

Mohammed Basel Al Jallad from the UAE Pro League announced updates to the Security and Safety Manual, clarifying responsibilities for clubs and fans. Key measures include:
- Increasing private security personnel at high-profile matches
- Ensuring official uniforms for all security staff
- Full presence of medical and technical teams from team arrival to departure
- Segregating fans in the stands using physical barriers
- Regulating the entry of sound systems, banners, and tifos
The workshop also addressed challenges faced by the Pro League Committee and stadium security teams, proposing solutions and emphasizing sustainability through strategic planning aligned with government directives.
Field teams from Dubai Police and the Dubai Sports Council continued their inspection program in collaboration with relevant entities to ensure full readiness for the 2025–2026 sports season. These visits confirmed the completion of logistical and technical preparations, ensuring safe and efficient fan access and a thrilling season kickoff.
