UAE Pro League Announces Finalists for 2024–2025 Season Awards Ceremony at Emirates Palace
The UAE Pro League has officially revealed the nominees for its prestigious end-of-season awards, celebrating standout performances across the 2024–2025 campaign. The winners will be honored during a grand ceremony at the iconic Emirates Palace on August 9.
The ceremony will showcase accolades across six core categories: Best Player, Best U23 Player, Best Goalkeeper, Best Coach, Goal of the Season, and Fan’s Player of the Year. The voting period opens Saturday, July 26 at 2:00 PM, and closes Thursday, July 31 at 2:00 PM, accessible via the League’s official website and mobile application. Votes will be cast by team captains, coaches, media professionals, and fans, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive selection process.
Among the top contenders for the Golden Ball (Best Player) are Kodjo Laba and Alejandro Romero of Al Ain, alongside Firas Al-Buraikan, Fabio Lima, and Nabil Fekir. Emerging talent will be recognized through the Golden Boy (Best U23 Player) award, with rising stars from Shabab Al Ahli, Al Ain, Al Wasl, and Sharjah in contention.
The competition for the Golden Glove (Best Goalkeeper) features elite performers including Khalid Essa (Al Ain) and Ali Khaseif (Al Jazira), while the Leader Award (Best Coach) includes nominees such as Paulo Sousa and Cosmin Olăroiu. The Fan’s Player of the Year brings together a diverse field of fan favorites representing every corner of the league.
